Transfers

We did transfers at the house today. We called Elder Beattie as our new AP last night. Elder Paredes is going home on December 31st and Elder Rivas is going home on January 21st but he is going to work out in the field for his last 3 weeks so we will be down to 2 AP's, Elder Ortiz and Elder Beattie.  It always takes all day.  The elders came about 10am.  We had chicken tortilla soup for lunch and ordered tacos for dinner.  We worked all day and they didn't go home until about 8pm but I think that the transfer board looks pretty good! Katie and Kyden went to the temple and then hung out at the pool today and worked out.

Elder Paredes is going home on December 31st.  Kirt and I will both be in Arizona for Katie and Kyden's wedding when he leaves.  We did his final interview tonight.  He is such a good missionary and a great YM.  We are going to miss him so much. He has been our AP since we got to the mission 6 months ago.  It is going to be weird to come back and not have him be here.  

Elder Paredes made us the cutest scrapbook of pictures of our time together in the mission.  He is so thoughtful.
