We went to Roatan for the weekend to see the missionaries and help the 2 branches that are under there mission there. We went Friday morning and came back Monday afternoon.
We stayed at Infinity Bay in Roatan. There are some members of the church from Florida that have a condimium in the Infinity Bay Hotel. They let us stay in their condo for just the cleaning fee. It was super nice of them. The resort was super nice. We actually got to relax for our p-day on Saturday and do a little snorkeling.
We went to our favorite Thai restaurant, The Blue Elephant
We went to the branch in Roatan and then the branch in Los Fuertes
This is the Los Fuertes building
Monday Sloan and Amy Jorgensen, who are the mission dentists, invited us to come to there house on Roatan. (The Jorgensens happen to live in Moses Lake Washington. They are serving a service mission in the Roatan and El Salvador Missions. They don't have to live in the mission, but they just happen to have a house that they visit frequently in Roatan). They invited us and all the missionaries on Roatan out for p-day. We got there and had been there for a few hours when we got an email from our airline that our flight had been moved up from 5:30pm to 2:30pm. So unfortunately we had to run out and head to the airport right away. We were kind of bummed, but what do you do?
