Stake Conference in Progress and Setting Apart of Mission Counselors

We attended Stake Conference in the Progreso Stake today.  Elder Ruiz and Elder Zaldivar were late, so someone added them to the picture:)

Sunday evening Kirt set apart his counselors for the mission.  They have been functioning as his counselors since we got here.  They had been serving with President Ostler since March, but they were technically released when President Ostler was released.  Kirt submitted their names to be recalled right when we got here, but he just got the official approval to call them again.  Thankfully, they have been helping even though they were not officially called.  His first counselor is Nelson Zavala and his second counselor is Carlos Medina.  They are both wonderful men.  They were both recently released as Stake Presidents.  We are so grateful for them.
