Last Day with Missionaries Going Home

We went to the temple this morning with the missionaries going home.  We have 14 going home tomorrow (November 19th) and then 6 more going home over the next few weeks.  They all came on the tour because we won't be doing one with the next transfer because we will be leaving for Katie's wedding.  After the temple, the missionaries went on their tour of downtown San Pedro Sula, to the municipality building, the cathedral, and the library. They did some souvenir shopping and then came to the house. We had lunch at the house.  I made Cafe Rio tacos.  We visited and played games. Then we went to dinner at Osteria Pastai.  Then we came back to the house. Everyone shared their favorite scripture.  We had dessert and said good-byes.  I didn't know if was going to be so hard to say good-bye.  I have really come to love these missionaries, especially our AP's Elder Milla and Elder Dick.  I will miss them so much.

We were in the office yesterday and Elder LaFrance had on a tie with elephants on it.  I told him he would have to leave it for me when he left because I collect elephants.  Elder Dick and Elder Jorgensen were standing there when I told Elder LaFrance that and so they bought me these elephants when they were souvenir shopping today.  I named them Jorge (for Elder Jorgensen) and Lil' Benji (for Elder Dick).  It was so sweet of them.

On the bus back to the office

This was a great day but so hard.  I stole hugs from Elder Milla and Elder Dick and just cried. They are amazing Elders and we will miss them so much.
