Temple with the Outgoing Missionaries and Satelite and El Carmen Zones

Today was a crazy day.  Today is the day that the outgoing missionaries go to the temple, do their tour of San Pedro, come to the house for interviews, we take them to dinner, and then they share their favorite scripture and testimony. I also invited the zones from Satelite and El Carmen to come to the temple with the outgoing missionaries.  There was supposed to be a bus to pick them up at the Satelite chapel that was then supposed to go to the Mega-mall to pick up a group from El Carmen.  Unfortunately, our financial secretary forget to order the bus so of course it didn't show up.  It was supposed to pick them up at 7:30am.  I don't hear from them until 8:20am that the bus was not there.  They really wanted to come to the temple so I told them to hop into some taxis and get to the temple as fast as they could.  The group from El Carmen got in taxis quickly, and they got there at about 9:05am (the session was supposed to start at 9am and they were supposed to be there at 8:15am).  The outgoing missionaries were already there too and Elder Paredes was worried that they wouldn't have time for all the things they had planned today so the temple was nice and started a session for those missionaries that were already there.  Kirt went with that group.  I waited for the other group.  They did not get there until 10:10am.  They did not get in taxis. They took a public bus that took forever and ever.  I felt so bad for the temple workers, but they were so nice. I did the session with those Elders. As soon as Kirt was done with his session, he went to the airport.  The other crazy thing that happened today was that the MTC sent us some missionaries early.  We are getting 19, and they were supposed to tomorrow, but apparently the plane tomorrow was full, so they sent 11 of them today.  He said hello to them at the airport, and then came back to the house.  The outgoing missionaries got here about 3:45pm (much later than planned because their lunch wasn't ready when they went to pick it up).  We visited while Kirt did final interviews.  Then we went to dinner.  We came back and did favorite scriptures and testimonies and had dessert.  Then poor Kirt had to go to the airport to pick up a missionary that wasn't able to get on the flight eariler today.  He picked him up and didn't get back to the house until 1am. It was kind of a crazy day, but everyone is alive!

President with the missionaries from El Carmen Zone (Elder Johnson and Elder Salinas didn't make it because of the traffic. We missed them. And Elder Flint and Elder Perez were with the Satelite Zone because they live closer to the Satelite chapel.)

Kirt picked up Elder Wilson at 11:15pm and brought him to the house.  They didn't get back until 1am.

Poor Elder Wilson had to stay at the house with just Kirt and me.  Well maybe not poor Elder Wilson. He did have a nice bed, a hot shower, and a good breakfast. But he was with Kirt and I all by himself.  I thought he would sleep in so I went down to the gym at 6am. When I got back an hour later, Elder Wilson was sitting in a chair in the living room all dressed and ready to go.  I was in my work out clothes and all sweaty.  Get first meet with your mission leader.  Not awkward or anything.
