We had a great MLC today. We talked about our mission culture and what it means to be a leader.

These Are a Few of My Least Favorite Things
The power was out today at the church we attended and it was so hot. I was not happy about it. I was also not happy about attending 2nd hour in the heat, while not being able to understand very much of what was being said, and being very hungry from fasting.

Tarde Blanca
The La Lima Stake had a White Afternoon where they did all the baptisms in the stake in one afternoon. There were 16 people baptized today! I'm so excited that so many people were baptized.
A family in the Stake, the Melgar Family. Kirt visited them one evening when he was on exchanges with the missionaries.

1st Elders to Spend the Night at our Home
Elder Wilson has been having bad headaches and had to come into the city with his companion Elder Fernandez, from Olanchito which is like 8 hours away for some tests. He had tests done on Thursday and then had to go back in on Friday to talk to the Doctor. The hospital is right by our house, so they spend the night at the mission home. It was fun to have kids (I know they're not really kids, but they are to me) in our house. I miss my children so much so I loved getting to spoil them. I made them breakfast before I sent them back out into the world.

Interviews
It was such a busy week. I think that interviews might be our most favorite and least favorite thing at the same time. We love talking with the missionaries successes, but it is draining at the same time because we also get to listen to their complaints and trials. We had interviews Monday afternoon, Tuesday after zone conference, Wednesday in Satelite all day, Thursday all day in Progresso and Palmero. We did get Friday off to catch up on a ton of stuff. Then more interviews Saturday at the office and then Sunday after church. We are done for another few weeks til it starts all over again. I asked the missionaries to share their favorite scripture with me. I loved to hear what their scripture was and why it was their favorite. It was also a hard week because we had to send two Elders home, Elder Richardson and Elder Turcios. We will miss them. They were great missionaries.
We didn't take any pictures all week except this one. This is Elder Johnson's (the elder of on right of the group on the left) impromptu Spanish class. This little lesson prompted him to have the idea of teaching a Spanish class to the new missionaries who are learning Spanish. He is now teaching the Spanish class every Saturday at 10am when the English Connect classes are also being taught.
